2017-Year of the Trump

As we embark on a new and exciting journey where anything is possible and nothing undone, we need to understand how fortunate we are to have be Born in the Greatest Nation in History. And, if just for a moment at the stroke of 12pm let's embrace the fact that Obama and his lecherous crew of comrades were finally run out of town.

Happy New Year!

Democrats Act to SAVE ObamaCare from GOP REPEAL

Obama to Hill, 'Day of Action'

President Obama’s trip next week to Capitol Hill to discuss ObamaCare is only the latest -- and most visible -- sign that Democrats are ready to fight Republicans’ plans to change the president’s signature health-care law as well as Medicaid and Medicare.
Obama will visit Wednesday with House and Senate Democrats, the day after the 114th Congress convenes and Republicans, who have the majority in both chambers, are expected to start repealing and replacing ObamaCare.
“Step one is the ObamaCare replacement legislation at the start of the year,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said a few weeks ago, as members closed out their 2016 session.
“Bring it on,” incoming Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said in response.
Fellow Democrats have given essentially every indication that they also intend to fight GOP efforts to change government-subsidized health care programs and to rally support among Americans for their efforts.
Earlier this week, House Democrats participated in a conference call that included discussions on protecting ObamaCare and entitlement programs targeted by Republicans, a congressional source told FoxNews.com.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, California, last week told fellow Democrats that they “stand ready to fight vigorously for America's hard-working families” against such efforts, including  those by incoming Republican President Donald Trump, who has called ObamaCare a “disaster” and vowed, if elected, to repeal the 2010 law.
She also urged them to hold events to warned voters in their district about the GOP plans, including what she says is House Speaker Paul Ryan’s design to “privatize” Medicare, federally subsidized health insurance for seniors and the disabled.
Pelosi, Schumer and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, Independent, have also called for a national “Day of Action” on January 15, five days before Trump’s inauguration to highlight GOP efforts to cut or significantly change “vital and necessary health programs.”
As proof that Trump is determined to repeal and replace at least major parts of ObamaCare, the government-mandate insurance that has become increasingly increasing expensive for Americans, they point out that the president-elect has nominated Georgia GOP Rep. Tom Price to run the Department of Health and Human Services. Price is a major critic of ObamaCare.
Ryan, R-Wis., has laid out a plan to make changes to ObamaCare, Medicare and Medicaid, in an attempt to create a single health-care plan and give Americans what he calls better access to “quality, affordable health care.”
"ObamaCare is making things worse by the day. It drives up premiums and deductible costs for individuals, families and businesses,” Ryan says in his “Better Way” plan. “ObamaCare must be fully repealed so we can start over and take a new approach.”
Still, congressional Republican leaders have made clear in recent weeks that a full ObamaCare replacement plan could take two to four years, with no viable alternative in place and the likelihood of leaving roughly 22 million Americans without insurance before the 2018 midterm elections.

Krauthammer: ‘Obama SEES HIMSELF As the GOD Hovering Over the Country’

‘This is about as anti-democratic as you can get’

Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer told panelists on Dec. 29, 2016, that new sanctions issued against Russia stem from President Obama seeing himself as a "god hovering over the country." (Fox News screenshot)

Syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer says President Obama’s new sanctions against Russia stem from a god complex.
The commander in chief expelled 35 Russian diplomats and sanctioned nine individuals and entities on Thursday due to “significant malicious cyber-enabled activities” during the U.S. presidential election. Mr. Krauthammer told a panel on “Special Report” that the timing of the sanctions — months after the alleged attacks — is “ridiculous.”
“If you’re going to do this, you do it when it happens. You don’t say to Vladimir Putin during an election, ‘Cut it out.’ This is adolescent. You say there will be consequences, and you make them stick,” the pundit said.
Mr. Krauthammer soon added that imposing sanctions just weeks before President-elect Donald Trump takes office is “about as anti-democratic as you can get.”
“He is doing all these things that have been explicitly rejected by his own party and then he doesn’t have the courage of his own convictions, getting them done to lock in hissuccessor,” he said, The Daily Caller reported. “Obama sees himself as the god hovering over the country dispensing goodies to the extent that he’s got control. And he figures, ‘I’ve got control here. No one can stop me.’ Maybe it will be somewhat irreversible.”
The White House maintains that Russian intelligence agencies acted to undermine the electoral process as Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Mr. Trump campaigned to be the 45th U.S. commander in chief.
Russia’s cyberactivities were intended to influence the election, erode faith in U.S. democratic institutions, sow doubt about the integrity of our electoral process, and undermine confidence in the institutions of the U.S. government. These actions are unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” the Obama administration said in a statement released Thursday night.
Diplomats targeted by the White House were given 72 hours to leave the country.
Two compounds in Maryland and New York have also been closed due to alleged intelligence gathering by Russian state actors.

DHS Catches FEWER ILLEGALS From INSIDE U.S.

Only 1 percent of 11 million caught last year

FILE - In this June 22, 2016, file photo, Border Patrol agent Eduardo Olmos walks near the secondary fence separating Tijuana, Mexico, background, and San Diego in San Diego. The number of immigrants in the U.S. illegally has changed little since the Great Recession began, dropping to 11.1 million in 2014 from 11.2 million in 2012 and 11.3 million in 2009, according to a study released Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, by the Pew Research Center. (AP Photo/Gregory Bull, File)

Agents are catching more illegal immigrants on the border — a sign that illegal immigration is picking up yet again — but nabbed fewer from within the interior of the U.S. over the last year, as President Obama made good on his vow to stop deporting all but the most serious of illegal immigrants, new statistics revealed Friday.
Only 1 percent of the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. were caught by interior enforcement agents in fiscal 2016, and more than 90 percent of those had criminal records, Homeland Security said. That means that the millions of illegal immigrants who don’t have a serious record, but who are still here without authorization, had almost no fear of being ousted.
All told, about 114,000 were apprehended by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the fiscal year. That’s down from more than 125,000 in 2015, and a huge drop from 2013, when ICE agents nabbed more than 240,000, and 2011, when they caught 338,000.
“That’s where we’ve really seen changes,” said one Homeland Security official who briefed reporters on the numbers Friday afternoon on condition that he not be named publicly.
Stung by criticism from immigrant-rights advocates who dubbed Mr. Obama the “deporter in chief,” the administration has made a concerted effort to start kicking out fewer migrants from the U.S. He and Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson laid out a series of priorities they ordered agents to focus on, and told them to drop other cases.
The priorities include serious felons and national security risks, those with multiple misdemeanors, recent border crossers and those who have been ordered deported since 2014, but who are refusing to go.
Of those ICE kicked out in 2016, nearly 84 percent were the top priority of serious felons, national security risks or gang members, or were caught at the border. Another 13 percent had repeat misdemeanors or were caught in the interior after sneaking in after 2013.
Homeland Security officials briefing reporters said it was a victory for the administration to limit deportations to those priorities.
President-elect Donald Trump during the campaign signaled a tougher line, saying illegal immigrants would “have to go.”
But in the weeks since the Nov. 8 election he has instead said he would focus his deportation efforts on criminals, estimating between 2 million and 3 million people will fall into that category. Analysts say focusing on criminals would be generally the same approach Mr. Obama has taken — though they dispute his estimates, saying far fewer illegal immigrants actually have criminal convictions on their records.
Even as interior agents catch fewer migrants, Border Patrol agents and Customs and Border Protection officers who man the ports of entry are seeing a spike in illegal immigrants attempting to enter.
Homeland Security officials say if more people that are caught at the border, it means more are also getting through — so the numbers signal an overall increase in the flow.
Border Patrol agents caught 415,816 people trying to enter illegally over the last fiscal year, which is up 23 percent compared to 2015. Still, it’s far less than the 1.5 million regularly caught each year in the late 1990s.
CBP officers, meanwhile, encountered nearly 275,000 other migrants who showed up at the ports of entry but who didn’t have permission to enter.
The patterns of migration have shifted in recent years. In the 1990s and early 2000s the flow was primarily Mexicans, but now migrants from Central America — particularly Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador — now make up a larger portion, and many of them are women and children.
Homeland Security Department officials say they are fleeing poor conditions at home and aren’t trying to avoid capture, but are instead showing up and asking to be caught. But security experts, including the new chief of the Border Patrol, say they’re being enticed by lax enforcement here in the U.S.

Mexican Man Charged with RAPE DEPORTED 10 Times

 Associated Press

WICHITA, Kan. — A Mexican man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl on a Greyhound bus that traveled through Kansas had been deported 10 times and voluntarily removed from the U.S. another nine times since 2003, records obtained by The Associated Press show.
Three U.S. Republican senators — including Kansas’ Jerry Moran and Pat Roberts — demanded this month that the Department of Homeland Security provide immigration records for 38-year-old Tomas Martinez-Maldonado, who is charged with a felony in the alleged Sept. 27 attack aboard a bus in Geary County. He is being held in the Geary County jail in Junction City, which is about 120 miles west of Kansas City.
U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley, from Iowa and chairman of the judiciary committee, co-signed a Dec. 9 letter with Moran and Roberts to Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, calling it “an extremely disturbing case” and questioning how Martinez-Maldonado was able to re-enter and remain in the country.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it has placed a detainer — a request to turn Martinez-Maldonado over to ICE custody before he is released — with Geary County. ICE declined to discuss his specific case beyond its October statement regarding the 10 deportations.
Court filings show Martinez-Maldonado has two misdemeanor convictions for entering without legal permission in cases prosecuted in 2013 and 2015 in U.S. District Court of Arizona, where he was sentenced to serve 60 days and 165 days respectively.
A status hearing in the rape case is scheduled for Jan. 10. Defense attorney Lisa Hamer declined to comment on the charge, but said, “criminal law and immigration definitely intersect and nowadays it should be the responsibility of every criminal defense attorney to know the possible ramifications in the immigration courts.”
Nationwide, 52 percent of all federal prosecutions in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30 were for entry or re-entry without legal permission and similar immigration violations, according to Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University.
It’s not unusual to see immigrants with multiple entries without legal permission, said David Trevino, a Topeka immigration attorney who has provided legal advice to Martinez-Maldonado’s family. Most of Martinez-Maldonado’s family lives in Mexico, but he also has family in the United States, and the family is “devastated,” Trevino said.
“(President-elect Donald Trump) can build a wall 100 feet high and 50 feet deep, but it is not going to keep family members separated. So if someone is deported and they have family members here … they will find a way back — whether it is through the air, under a wall, through the coast of the United States,” Trevino said.
He declined to comment on Martinez-Maldonado’s criminal history and pending charge.
Records obtained by AP show Martinez-Maldonado had eight voluntary removals before his first deportation in 2010, which was followed by another voluntary removal that same year. He was deported five more times between 2011 and 2013.
In 2013, Martinez-Maldonado was charged with entering without legal permission, a misdemeanor, and subsequently deported in early 2014 after serving his sentence. He was deported again a few months later, as well as twice in 2015 — including the last one in October 2015 after he had served his second sentence, the records show.
ICE said in an emailed statement that when it encounters a person who’s been deported multiple times or has a significant criminal history and was removed, it routinely presents those cases to the U.S. attorney’s office for possible criminal charges.
Cosme Lopez, spokesman for the U.S. attorney’s office in Arizona, declined comment on why prosecutors twice dismissed felony re-entry after deportation charges against Martinez-Maldonado in 2013 and 2015 in exchange for guilty pleas on misdemeanor entry charges.
Arizona ranks third in the nation — behind only the Southern District of Texas and the Western District of Texas — for the number of immigration prosecutions among the nation’s 94 federal judicial districts for the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse records show.
Moran told the AP in an email that the immigration system is “broken.”
“There must be serious legislative efforts to address U.S. immigration policy, and we must have the ability to identify, prosecute and deport illegal aliens who display violent tendencies before they have an opportunity to perpetrate these crimes in the United States,” he said.

Central Americans CONTINUE to SURGE Across U.S. Border

New DHS figures show

Abigail Hauslohner

U.S. officials are grappling with a 15 percent surge in illegal immigration, reflecting continued failures by the Obama administration to deter illegal immigration along the country’s southwestern border.
Homeland Security officials apprehended 530,250 illegal immigrants and sent 450,954 people back to their home countries over the 12-month period that ended in September, according to figures released Friday by the Department of Homeland Security.
The majority of those apprehended come from Central American countries and include 137,614 families and unaccompanied children, part of an ongoing flight from high crime and violence in Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, which human rights advocates have urged the administration to treat as a refugee crisis.
The number of families and children in the past year also exceeded figures from 2015 and 2014, when illegal immigrants from Central America overwhelmed U.S. Border Patrol stations at the Mexican border and President Obama called the flow of children an “urgent humanitarian situation.”
Administration officials said Friday that the latest “removal” figures reflect a concerted policy shift to target convicted criminals over others.
“We continued to better focus our interior resources on removing individuals who may pose threats to public safety — specifically, convicted criminals and threats to national security,” Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said in a statement. “This prioritization is reflected in actual results.” More than 99 percent of those forcibly removed from the country over the most recent 12-month period fell into the administration’s three priority categories.
Overall deportations have dropped over the past few years, from a peak of more than 400,000 during Obama’s first term.
Immigration human rights advocates, including J. Kevin Appleby, the senior director of international migration policy at the Center for Migration Studies, say the priorities were a good move — probably resulting in fewer deportations overall — but have come too late.
“In the end, the president will be remembered as a deporter, not a reformer. In the first four years, he set record numbers in removals, much to the dismay of the immigrant community,” Appleby said.
Immigration advocates have repeatedly criticized the Obama administration for its increased reliance on detention facilities, particularly for Central American families, who they argue should be treated as refugees fleeing violent home countries rather than as priorities for deportation.
They also say that the growing number of apprehended migrants on the border, as reflected in the new Homeland Security figures, indicate that home raids and detentions of families from Central America isn’t working as a deterrent.
According to the Homeland Security report released Friday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement placed 352,882 people in detention facilities in fiscal 2016, a sharp rise from 193,951 people placed in detention last year.
Officials said Friday that the shifting demographic — from predominantly Mexican adults trying to cross the border 10 years ago to a larger proportion of Central Americans crossing today — has placed an added strain on Homeland Security resources due to the costs of sending people back to Central America and because of longer processes for people with security concerns.
Many of those arriving from Central America have applied for asylum with claims of “credible or reasonable fear of persecution” in their home countries, Homeland Security officials said.
After pressure from immigration rights advocates, the administration last summer announced plans to expand a State Department program to allow Central American minors to apply for refugee status.
But human rights activists expect detentions to increase under the administration of President-elect Donald Trump, who has vowed to step up the deportation of illegal immigrants and build a wall on the Mexican border.
Earlier this month, Trump said he would nominate retired Marine Gen. John F. Kelly, a border security hawk, to run the Department of Homeland Security. Kelly has warned about cross-border threats from Mexico and Central America.
Homeland Security figures released Friday showed that nearly 84 percent of the people removed from the United States in fiscal year 2016 were categorized as Priority 1, which includes “national security threats, convicted felons or ‘aggravated felons,’ criminal gang participants, and illegal entrants apprehended at the border,” according to the department’s report.

It was also unclear how many of those convicted were violent criminals or national security threats, as opposed to those whose offenses related only to crossing the border illegally. Twenty-two percent of those sent back to their countries also had no prior criminal convictions, the report said.

Trump: Putin ‘VERY SMART’ for NOT Retaliating Against U.S.

President-elect Donald Trump on Friday hailed Russian President Vladimir Putin as “very smart” for not retaliating against a new round of U.S. sanctions against the former Cold War foe.
“Great move on delay (by V. Putin) - I always knew he was very smart!” tweeted Mr. Trump, who weathered unrelenting criticism during the campaign for heaping praise on Mr. Putin.
The tweet suggested that Mr. Trump, who made his deal-making skills a chief argument for his presidential run, will be open to negotiating with Russia over the status of the sanctions once he takes office Jan. 20.
Mr. Putin condemned the new round of sanctions President Obama imposed against Russia for allegedly using computer hacking to interfere with the U.S. presidential election. But the Russian president said he would not retaliate.

Mr. Obama hit Russia with sanctions that included expelling 35 Russian intelligence agents and closing two Russian compounds in the U.S. The parting shot at Russia was the latest rift between Mr. Obama and Mr. Trump, who urged the administration to move on from the hacking allegations.

OpEd: Obama. The MAN/CHILD President

theodore M I R A L D I.

The enigma that is Obama is coming to a crashing halt. Our half Black, half White, half Capitalist, half Socialist President has been a puzzle that has confused voters and pundits alike.

The giggly educator that people loved to hate, and hated to love is finally on his tumultuous way out the door.  And not a moment too soon.

This petulant president is the social warrior of those who may, or may not have been victimized. After all, he sees himself as a victim, raised and educated on the Public Teet. Molded by the Mongrels
of Hate and fine tuned at Harvard. A First Generation African who implies he knows the suffering of slavery in the US some 151 years after Emancipation.

Even after 8 years of Obama we really know little about him.

This is the President with little to no past.

Americans with their Guns and Bibles took a leap of faith and gave a man with dubious credentials a chance. It's what Americans do.

Sorry to say, Obama and his Administration will go down as the most corrupt government in American History. And for those who refuse facts to validate their narratives, too much propaganda
has hacked into your common sense.

Obama is more of a Cult Figure than a World Leader to his admirers. The smile, the whimsical repartee resurrects our adolescence hidden beneath our adulthood.

Being the CEO of a nation requires hard work, something Obama never learned in school. His redistribution of wealth was the act of a Sugar Daddy mentality usually attached to Dictators and not serious administrators of the Public Wealth, or Trust.

It will take decades to reverse the abuse of Taxpayer Dollars and National Debt accrued by Obama's Give-Aways. We actually gave the checkbook to a stranger.

The only hope left, is that the days left of his reign goes without further embarrassment to our Nation and its people.

The proof of his ineptness is strewn across the nation at people, mostly white people who voted for this car-salesman out of the goodness of their hearts and souls. What he has left us is a barrage of insults leveled against each of us, as well as our allies and pitted Americans of all hues against common sense and fair play.

Obama's GRACELESS Exit

Outgoing President Obama buries land mines for the Trump presidency

Kelly Riddell

ANALYSIS/OPINION:
In November, after Donald Trump won the election, President Barack Obama met the president-elect in the Oval Office and told him: “If you succeed, then the country succeeds.”
What a bunch of hooey.
Since the Nov. 8 results, Mr. Obama has taken a blow torch to the Oval Office, ensuring through his last minute executive actions and agency rulings, that Mr. Trump will have anything but a smooth transition into office.
Mr. Obama — looking to protect his legacy — has unilaterally made several moves to undermine and undercut Mr. Trump’s ability to deliver on his campaign promises. Succeed, is something Mr. Obama definitely doesn’t want Mr. Trump to do.
Last week, Mr. Obama decided to wave his middle finger at Israel — our closest ally in the Middle East — by having the U.S. abstain from a United Nations vote which said Israel was in violation of international law by allowing Jewish settlements anywhere in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. Mr. Trump has vowed to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.
In regards to Russia, Mr. Obama sanctioned it for its meddling in the U.S. election, with the mind-set to make the sanctions as difficult as possible for Mr. Trump to roll back. It’s unlikely any punishment will be delivered in Mr. Obama’s term — it’s something Mr. Trump will inherit.
“Part of the goal here is to make sure that we have as much of the record public or communicated to Congress in a form that would be difficult to simply walk back,” an unnamed administration official told The Washington Post of their goal in crafting Russia’s reprisal.
Domestically, Mr. Obama is also burying land mines for Mr. Trump to face.
On Wednesday, the president grabbed 1.6 million acres of Western land in Utah and Nevada, declaring it national monuments. It’s really just a move to cordon off the massive area from energy development.
A similar stroke was made last week, when the Interior Department adopted a controversial last-minute rule aimed at making the coal industry cleaner. The regulations overhauled rules that have been in place for more than three decades, and even the agency admitted more coal jobs would be lost because of it.
A day later, Mr. Obama invoked what even The New York Times called an “obscure provision” in the 1953 Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to unilaterally ban offshore oil and gas drilling along large swaths of the Artic and Atlantic sea borders.
Mr. Trump has aptly described Mr. Obama’s environmental regulations as “job killers” and has mocked the left’s unassailable belief in man-made climate change — to the detriment of the American economy and energy independence.
Mr. Trump pledged to coal country he’d help turn around their industry, which has been decimated by Mr. Obama’s environmental policies. Mr. Obama’s desperate 11th-hour rule making will make that pledge more difficult to deliver.
In an effort to help protect Planned Parenthood, last week the Obama administration issued a final rule that bars states from withholding federal money from the abortion-providers affiliates, which will take effect two days before Mr. Trump takes office.
The rule hinders the GOP’s ability to defund Planned Parenthood, requiring a time-consuming process to undo, according to the Times.
Mr. Obama’s team also canceled a Muslim registry run out of the Department of Homeland Security aimed at foiling Mr. Trump’s plans to impose “extreme vetting” on Muslim visitors.
The National Security Entry-Exit Registration System had been dormant for years, but activists demanded that the Obama administration take it off the books entirely. They feared Mr. Trump could have used the program as a shortcut to starting his own vetting.
Rescinding the NSEERS doesn’t stop Mr. Trump, but it does mean he would have to set up a new program rather than renew an existing one — a higher hurdle and a longer process.
What else does Mr. Obama have up his sleeve to try to deride a Trump presidency? Who knows — but we’re likely to see more executive action and agency rulings in the coming weeks aimed directly at Mr. Trump’s agenda.
Jan. 20 can’t come soon enough.

Obama UNLEASHES 3,853 REGS, 18 for EVERY LAW, RECORD 97,110 pages of red tape

Image result for Obama unleashes 3,853 regs, 18 for every law, record 97,110 pages of red tape

PAUL BEDARD

President Obama's lame duck administration poured on thousands more new regulations in 2016 at a rate of 18 for every new law passed, according to a Friday analysis of his team's expansion of federal authority.
While Congress passed just 211 laws, Obama's team issued an accompanying 3,852 new federal regulations, some costing billions of dollars.
The 2016 total was the highest annual number of regulations under Obama. Former President Bush issued more in the wake of 9/11.

The proof that it was an overwhelming year for rules and regulations is in the Federal Register, which ended the year Friday by printing a record-setting 97,110 pages, according to the analysis from the Competitive Enterprise Institute.
The annual "Unconstitutional Index" from Clyde Wayne Crews, CEI's vice president for policy, said that it was much higher under Obama than under former President George W. Bush.
"The multiple did tend to be higher during Obama administration. Bush's eight years averaged 20, while Obama's almost-eight have averaged 29," said his report, first provided to Secrets.
His index is meant to show that it is the federal bureaucracy, not Congress, that levies the most rules. "There's no pattern to any of this, since the numerators and denominators can vary widely; there had been 114 laws in 2015, and a multiple of 39. The multiple can be higher with fewer laws, or with more regulations, holding the other constant. The point is that agencies do the bulk of lawmaking, no matter the party in power," he wrote.
President-elect Trump has promised to slash federal regulations, even pledging to cut two current rules for every one he imposes. Congressional leaders have also promised to slash rules and regulations that have escalated under Obama.
