Lisa Page: Yeah, Obama's DOJ KILLED the Prosecution of Hillary
New testimony from former FBI attorney Lisa Page, which was released by Republican Congressman John Ratcliffe, shows the Department of Justice killed the prosecution of Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton before the FBI officially had a chance to refer her for charges.
That runs contrary to statements made by former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who said the Department would take whatever the FBI recommended.
The FBI is investigating the private server Hillary Clinton used while Secretary of State and whether Clinton or her aides broke any laws in their handling of classified information. Lynch said a team of career members of the Justice Department and FBI will present her with recommendations on how to proceed once the investigation has concluded and that she plans to accept the guidance.
According to Page, that isn't true. It also brings back the secret June 2016 tarmac meeting between former President Bill Clinton and Lynch. Days later, Clinton was let off for repeatedly mishandling top secret, classified information. Lynch maintains the two simply discussed golf and grandchildren, not the FBI's criminal investigation into Hillary. A report in the New York Post states a number of FBI agents believe a deal was struck and that an agreement was made not to prosecute Clinton.
Further, Page's account contradicts sworn testimony given by fired FBI Director James Comey about the case. He said under oath the FBI investigative team unanimously believed Clinton shouldn't be prosecuted. A number of FBI agents on the team reportedly believed, based on the evidence they had, that Clinton should have been referred for prosecution.
President Trump has taken notice of the discrepancy.
The just revealed FBI Agent Lisa Page transcripts make the Obama Justice Department look exactly like it was, a broken and corrupt machine. Hopefully, justice will finally be served. Much more to come!
